about me

I have spent my career in design and creative leadership, building brands, leading teams and working through creative challenges. I am drawn to work that has a purpose beyond simply making something look good. When the work helps people or makes something clearer and more engaging, that is what I enjoy most. And even after all these years, I still love being in the work itself, developing ideas, shaping concepts and figuring out how to make it work.

I like working through the process, developing a idea, shaping a brand or even taking something complicated and finding a way to make it easier to understand. The challenge of looking at a problem from different angles and figuring it out is the type of work I gravitate towards.

My role has grown from hands-on design and art direction into creative leadership. I have led teams, mentored designers, worked with partners across an organization and helped bring new ideas and ways of working to life. I strive for making environments where people can do their best work, while still being close enough to the creative to help shape it.

The work I find most meaningful is work that connects to something bigger than the creative itself. That could be helping someone understand an important idea, connecting people to an organization or cause or even making something easier or more engaging. That sense of purpose is something I look for in the work I do and the people I work with.

I have spent a lot of time leading creative work, but I never stopped enjoying making it. I like developing an idea and seeing it become something real in whichever form that is. For me being a leader is also being part of the creative, I see them connected and that is how I support my teams.
